  Shown above is Reliable's Valve Demonstration Trailer (Demo Trailer) used to present education programs to Contractors, Fitters, AHJ's and Engineers.  Within the Demo Trailer are a number of working Special Hazard and Dry Type Fire Protection Systems and each is connected to a pipe assembly to flow sprinkler heads.  After connection to a water and power supply, the Demo Trailer simulates field conditions in which the systems are "live".  The program covers the description, setup and operation of each system.  To "trip" the systems, sprinkler heads are activated showing spray distribution patterns and the related effectiveness of fire sprinklers.  The program is informal and designed to benefit all Fire Protection Industry Professionals.

  • Diving into the various air supply options for dry and pre-action systems – Oilless vs. Lubricated, Riser mount vs. tank mounted air compressors, dry air, etc
  • Updates to NFPA codes regarding dry/pre-action/standpipe systems
  • Sharing the latest 3^rd party corrosion testing results with Vapor Pipe Shield and High Purity Nitrogen

  James Golinveaux Chairman of the Board at Viking Group will be our upcoming speaker at our 3rd Quarter Members Meeting on Thursday September 11 at the Wyndham hotel, 5321 Date Ave off of I80 at Madison in Sacramento. 

  Since joining Viking as President and CEO in 2017, James has been a cornerstone of Viking’s growth and innovation. With James’ leadership, supported by the exceptional employees of the Viking Group, the company has expanded product offerings, increased footprint, and reinforced commitment to safety and customer focused solutions. As Chairman, James will continue to serve the Viking Group through direct engagement with customers, industry associations, and laboratories while also leading our intellectual property development and defense.   Sprinkler Contract Members & Associate Members, come join us for an afternoon of fun at TopGolf Roseville.  This event will be supporting the FireFighters Burn Institute.  You don't have to be a golf player to enjoy this facility.  There will be contests such as Hole in One with a prize of $10,000, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.  Come enjoy great company for play, food, drink, and a raffle while contributing to such a great organization as FFBI.  Enjoy this event as 5 players in your own bay with a donation of $300 with one industry representative (sponsor) who will join your bay to complete the limited number of 6 players per bay and help host your day. As a sponsor hosting your own bay, contest bay or food & reception.  Anyone can join, contractors, fitters, designers, office staff, associates, family and friends.  Remember, it's a fundraiser for a great cause so the more the merrier!  We have to limit the groups of 5 registration per contracting company to 2 bays as total available bays are limited.  Our associates look forward to socializing and having fun while networking with you.  There will be heavy appetizers a raffle and an award ceremony following play.  Please note the later start time of 3pm.
